The first Caparison Apple Horn was introduced in 1997 for guitar virtuoso Mattias Eklundh and in essence is a custom design Horus. The Caparison Apple Horn Jazz features the Caparison Fixed Bridge 6 with through body stringing and a black TUSQ nut by Graph Tech is fitted to compliment. The result is incredible tuning stability. The composite Mahogany top / Walnut back construction results in a more controlled acoustic resonance. All of the familiar Apple Horn signature design features are present including the Anders Nyberg designed 12th fret "IA" Logo, headstock graphics and Apple Horn body carving. |
