Joel presented us with a body shape concept that was a fusion of the TAT and Angelus models, the end result is a body shape that is unique to the JSM. The Caparison JSM features our M3B composite construction. Incidentally it was during the experimental prototype stage of Joel's guitar that we realised the potential of the M3B design and decided to introduce a new regular series model to feature it; the Angelus-M3B. The headstock design of the JSM is the same as an Angelus but the neck has the profile of a TAT model. Through body stringing has been incorporated to cope with down tuning and heavier gauge strings. The tailpiece has also been very finely adjusted for the tension of each individual string and the bridge pickup position has also been adjusted to produce a richer sound. Hipshot locking tuners and a Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut are included for their tuning stability in harsh stage environments. Joel’s autograph is discretely printed on the control panel back plate. |
