The creation of the Caparison Orbit was the result of our desire to add another through-neck design to the Caparison line-up and also expand upon the popular 27-fret Horus.
The Orbit’s radical body shape is a purposeful development to allow easy access to the higher frets, yet maintain the 648mm standard 27-fret scale length.
Despite the radical shape, the Orbit features subtle design elements to ensure that it sounds as good as it plays, such as the carved upper-wing body top to enhance the resonance of the Mahogany body and distinctive sounding Pro. Finish.
The Caparison Orbit is fitted with Caparison PH-R and SH-27F pickups. A simple push-push pickup selector switch built into the single volume control lets you quickly flip between the twin humbucking pickups without missing a single shred.
