The Caparison Horus was originally introduced in 1995 and was developed in collaboration with Japanese guitarist, Chacha Maru. Like the Orbit, the Horus is unique in design, featuring 27 frets but standard scale length, thus removing the need for the player to adjust their technique. To ensure the higher frets are accessible the Horus features a compact body design and deep cutaway.
The Horus pickup configuration consists of a Caparison Design SH-27F and Caparison Design BH-IIR. Pickup selection is controlled by a simplistic but highly effective combination 2-Way push-push selector switch / master volume control knob.
The Caparison Horus custom finish is applied by hand so each production model is visually unique. Black hardware can also be specified at time of order in preference to Gold.
