The Caparison Dellinger7 was originally developed at the request of guitarist Nils Norberg (Ex-Nocturnal Rights). The evolved Dellinger7 FX features a Caparison Design fixed bridge that is designed to accommodate the heaviest of string gauges and Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut for tuning stability.
To ensure the strength and stability of the Maple neck with the added stress of a 7-string configuration, the Dellinger7 FX features a 5-piece construction incorporating two narrow Walnut sections.
The Caparison Dellinger7 FX features modified versions of our PH-R and PH-F high output pickups. With similar tonal characteristics to the original 6-string versions, we believe the PH-7n and PH-7b are some of the best sounding 7-string pickups available.
The Dellinger7 FX is factory setup for regular tuning with the addition of a low ‘B’ string.
