The Caparison Custom Line is a special line produced from the highest grade and rare materials, in striking finishes and in strictly limited quantities.
The sonic characteristics of these models is made possible by the combination of a Mahogany-Maple-Mahogany body construction. The Maple neck is then bolted directly to the central Maple section of the body. The result is a tight, well balanced sound with rich sustain.
The thickness of the Flame Maple top is approximately 16mm, and in addition to the stunning visual appearance adds an extra sweet midrange characteristic to the overall sound.
A choice of two fingerboard materials are available, Ebony or Maple.
The Caparison Dellinger CL12 is fitted with two Caparison design ‘Vintage Sounding’ VS-IA single coil pickups* and one high-output PH-R humbucking pickup*, a 5-Way pickup selector switch and single volume control
The Caparison Dellinger II CL12 features Caparison's own design high-output PH-F and PH-R pickups* controlled by a simple 3-Way selector switch and single master volume control configuration.
For the guitarist who requires greater control and a wide range of tonal possibilities the Dellinger CL12 and the Dellinger II CL12 can be specified to include the versatile ‘Option Control’ modification. For further information please click here.
